The key stakeholders within the senior national soccer team, the Black Stars have been invited by Ghana’s parliament to explain the circumstances leading to their abysmal performance at the recently ended African Cup of Nations tournament.

This was made known by renowned Ghanaian journalist, Saddick Adams Obama on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

In his post, he indicated that Ghana’s parliament is demanding answers as to why the government of Ghana provided the needed funding, however, the players could not deliver the cup as they promised.

The post he made reads;

“The Parliament of Ghana has set 17th, 18th and 23rd February 2021 to commence formal investigations into the “abysmal performance of the Black Stars and their disappointing exit from Afcon 2021”.

Key stakeholders have received invitations to help in the investigations.
