Entertainment pundit and artiste manager Mr. Logic has stated that Gospel artiste Diana Hamilton doesn’t deserve to be the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year.

According to him, Diana Hamilton shouldn’t have even been nominated in the artiste of the year category because of the spirituality of her songs mingling with the circular songs which was also nominated in the same category.
In his submission on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show on Accra-based Hitz FM hosted by the renowned disc jockey and musician Andy Dosty, Mr. Logic stated Diana Hamilton winning the artiste of the year award is totally wrong.
He said Diana Hamilton winning the artiste of the year award at the 22nd edition of the VGMAs is a deliberate attempt by some music industry players trying to prove a point in the most prestigious award scheme in the country.
Mr. Logic stated Diana Hamilton had an unfair advantage over her colleague nominees like Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie, Adina and others because of her affliction with the church and the Ghanaian Christian community.
He added that commercializing Gospel music is totally wrong in the first place and alleging that the church intentionally solicited votes for Diana Hamilton to take the ultimate award home, which serves as an unfair advantage to the rest of the nominees.
