Ghanaian social media sensation, Twene Jonas has slammed Akuffo-Addo and his government over the payment of allowances to spouses of the President and his vice.
The news of the payment of souses of President Nana Akuffo-Addo and the vice President Mahammud Bawumia has a great confusion in the country. A lot of people have disapproved of the approved law to the payment of spouses.

Twene Jonas has described the actions as a ridiculous cost for the state to bear. He added that Ghanaians voted for the president and vice and not their wives. He added that the recommendations to agree to pay spouses by the State is a waste of the country’s resources and at the expense of very important developmental projects.
In a new video shared by the social media sensation, he lambasted Nana Addo for messing up more than former president John Mahama during his reign. He issued a warning that the resources of Ghana were not meant for politicians but for the citizens.
“You messed up more than former president John Mahama. Did we vote for your wives? If you can’t cater for your wives, divorce the, Ghana is not your cocoa to be harvesting” Twene Jonas fumed.

“People are struggling and you are there wasting money. Children don’t have desks to sit on in schools. The fire service doesn’t have logistics to manage accidents and you going to spend $28 million on V8 for politicians” he added.
