Stephen Siaw, better known as Ayesem in the entertainment industry and a hiplife and hip-hop singer, has regrettably disclosed that he struggles financially in Ghana as a celebrity.

The former Shocks Entertainment signee acknowledged that it has been quite challenging for him to handle his personal finances since leaving his record label.

The “Satan” singer vehemently asserted that tackling things alone has been harder, particularly in terms of money, in an exclusive one-on- one interview on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.

He stated on Kastle Drive “Yeah I’m struggling a bit I won’t say that I have taken it easy as an individual doing things on my own because it is not easy at all.

“Doing stuff on my own is difficult, especially the financial aspects isn’t that easy for me but then I still have guys who are closer to me and we work together,”

“But then financially it’s not easy for me to cope since I exited Shocks Entertainment so it’s quite difficult but still the passion keeps me moving all the time”.

In other news, Ghanaian Hiphop/ Hiplife artiste, Ayesem has announced an impending Senior High School tour, beginning from his home region, Western.

The ‘Koti’ hit maker explained that the tour will be hinged on his new single ‘Julie’ which tells the true story of Julie (not real name), a teenager whose dreams for the future were cut short due to premarital sex and an unwanted pregnancy.

The story has it that, Julie in an attempt to abort the child took in drugs that later got her paralyzed.

In partnership with the Ministry of Gender, Ghana Education Service and Media General’s Connect 97.1 FM, Ayesem seeks to use the opportunity to encourage young adults in High Schools to abstain from premarital sexual intercourse and focus of building a career for themselves while they are still young, and enjoy the support of their families.
