Charterhouse, the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, has banned Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy in a televised press conference yesterday- May 22 as punishment for the chaos they caused at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

As if that wasn’t enough, the board members also stripped them off all the awards they won on the night and asked them to return the plaques.

The issue has caused a huge uproar within the entertainment circles as everyone thinks the punishment meted out to the two Dancehall superstars were too harsh.

Sarkodie, who fled the chaotic scene during the melee, has taken to Twitter to put Charterhouse on the blast for their ‘iron heart’ with which they arrived at the consensus.

In one of Sarkodie’s tweets, the Artiste of the Decade award winner said in plain language that in as much as the duo erred in the role they played to mar the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the punishment was just too ‘quick’ and swift.

Sarkodie also put the unfortunate incident right at the doorstep of Chartehouse, saying the security is blamable for being unprofessional.

Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy reignited their age-long beef in a Hollywood movie style during the just ended VMGA .

Right after Stonebwoy was declared winner of the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the year, Shatta Wale and his SM soldiers walked to the podium and advanced towards Stonebwoy.

Feeling his life was under threat, the Bhim Nation president pulled a gun and that was things turned from bad to worst; patrons fled for their lives whilst others allegedly collapsed.
