Rapper Tic Tac seems not happy with the comment of Wendy Shay about Ghanaian artists thanking Nigerian artists for the attention and asking her not to get into the mix of things she doesn’t know.
Wendy Shay in a tweet said Ghanaian artists need to thank Nigerian artists for putting Africa out there and giving us the chance to shine outside Africa, simply Nigerian artists brought the world’s attention to Africa through Afrobeat hence Ghana artists need to thank them.
Tic Tac who has been in the industry for a long disagrees with Wendy Shay on this, telling her to focus on doing her music and not get in the mix of things she doesn’t know because Nigerians aren’t to be thanked for the attention we enjoy today.
According to Tic Tac, he thinks it should be the other way rather because if not for the bad Ghanaian Pull Him Down (PHD) syndrome, things could have been different so we have ourselves to blame for our music not traveling and need not thank any Nigerian artist.
