Reality TV star, Maria Chike Benjamin has come out to speak from her isolated space in Ghana after contracting COVID-19.
Maria was reported to have tested positive for Coronavirus after landing in Ghana to do business and it was alleged that he was being extorted and detained against her will over the COVID-19 test results.
In the most recent update on her Instagram story, Maria expressed her appreciation to those who reach out to her over her wellbeing and she confirmed testing positive for COVID-19.
She advised her fans not to take the virus for granted and they should not try to be stubborn as herself.
In her words: My heartbeats, I heard you were all concerned about me. Thank you so much for all the kind messages. Unfortunately, I have tested positive for Covid-19 but I can reassure you I am doing really well
I initially has a negative result from Dubai less than 24 hours of coming to Ghana, upon arrival into Ghana, I tested positive and was asked to quarantine, I got a different Doctor that tested me negative again.
We have so many back and front results of positives and negatives. But finally I have tested positive. Pleas do not take Covid for granted and don’t try to be as stubborn as myself always.
I have been placed in best possible care and receiving treatment. I will be in Ghana untill I am fully recovered and tested negative. I love you all and cannnot
waite to get back to work.
