Father of the late Dancehall/Afrobeats star Ebony, Mr Opoku Kwarteng has said despite the huge popularity of her daughter, she made no financial gains with her music.
The old man, who was given the moniker Starboy by the media, was forced to reveal this after numerous allegations flying from all corners were aimed at him to the effect that he was squandering her daughter’s fortune moments after her demise.
He mentioned that although Ebony was seen making great waves, she did not earn anything substantial from her activities.
‘Bullet said in one interview that Wendy Shay is his cash cow, that alone justifies the fact that Ebony did not make money from music‘, he told blogger Attractive Mustapha in an interview.
