American rapper, Eminem has tendered an apology to singer, Rihanna for supporting Chris Brown’s actions of assault against her in 2009.
Eminem who featured Rihanna on his ‘Love the Way you Lie’ song in 2010 have been friends and embarked on a tour ‘Monster Tour’ that ended in 2014.

However, Eminem had an unreleased song in 2019 which has been leaked and part of the lyrics says
“Of course I side with Chris Brown / I’d beat a bitch down too,”
According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, a representative of the rapper, Dennis Dennehy is said in a statement that Eminem scrapped that verse and rewrote it.

This time, Eminem had felt sorry about his past comments on ‘Zeus’ and expressing his remorse, he rhymed,
“Long as I re-promise to be honest / And wholeheartedly, [I give to] apologies, Rihanna / For that song that leaked / I’m sorry, Ri / It wasn’t meant to cause you grief / Regardless, it was wrong of me.”
