The retired men and women who once graced our Tv screens with beautiful display of their God given talents were honored by the organizers of the Actors and Entertainers Award committee.
The organizers awarded the retired entertainment figures for their outstanding theatrical works and great contribution to the development of the Ghanaian arts industry. The awardees, Mr Emmanuel Armah and Madam Grace Nortey were left speechless after receiving the cash prize, a plaque and a citation
They both thanked the organizers for coming through for them at such crucial stage of their life. Madam Grace Nortey said;
“To think of me out of the many veteran actors alone is a blessing for me and I appreciate your honor and donations so much”
Mr Emmanuel Armah could not hide his joy as well as he expressed so much gratitude for the support from the organizers. The veteran actor has asked his “well to do” colleague actors and other individuals to help him as he battles a terrible disease at home.
The donations made to the retired entertainers is part of the organisations plans to appreciate great industry players whose life and selfless contributions helped to promote the arts industry and also discover great talents.
