The first ever Tadifest Carnival masterminded by Empire FM came to a climax on December 25 with after a week-long exciting activities which literally brought the Oil City to a standstill.
TadiFest is a catalogue of outdoor events put together by Empire FM, a prominent brand under EIB Network umbrella to usher in and celebrate the yuletide in earnest.
The official announcement of the event was made on radio by the Sales and Marketing manager of the station, Enoch Asare AKA Feeling Daddy on August 16, 2018.
The events was partnered by all media brands under the EIB Network Company comprising GhOne TV, Starr 103.5 FM etc.
Activities of the event included:
1. December 15: ‘Project 1027: Oil City Cleap Up’
2. December 22: Oil City Health Walk & Western Music Night
3. December 23: Community Gala
4. December 25: Oil City Carnival.
The Carnival experienced massive turn out from the indigenous people and beyond and the musical concert which crowned it all later in the evening was the icing on the cake.
Takoradi-based artistes like Casta troy, Nero X, Hindu, Aya, Sayvee, Oko Gh and MOBO award winner Samini were on hand to provide good music to the thousands of revelers gathered.
The maiden edition was really successful and we hope the standard will be worked on to make it very entertaining and engaging in the future.
