Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has shared a contentious tweet that has got people talking.
The General Manager of GhOne TV shunned her support for her homeland, Ghana, predicting the victory of England in the impending World Cup.
Taking to the microblogging platform, she wrote;
England will win the World Cup.
Ghgossip is not quite sure how reliable her source could be however Ghana also stand equal chance to be crowned winners of the World Cup as purported by the Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif. He said that he is sure that Ghana will return home with the trophy in December.
Nevertheless, this comes after the FIFA World Cup trophy landed in Ghana for a two-day tour led by the former Winner David Trezeguet.
On Saturday morning, the trophy arrived at the Kotoka International Airport which saw the presence of the Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif and Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku welcoming the delegation.
Since then, social media has been filled with photos of the golden trophy enclosed in a glass box and secured by a solid security.
It’s gathered that on Sunday, the trophy will be shown to the Black Stars who will have the opportunity to take photos with it.
