Renowned Ghanaian media icon and feminist, Oheneyere Gifty Anti highlighted on one of the key traits most men are terrified about women.

In an interview on the ‘Anigye Mmre’ segment broadcasted on Onua FM, the seasoned journalist insinuated that every man is terrified of a powerful woman.
Gifty Anti explained that most men have the perception that powerful and successful women are mostly very rude towards others, especially the opposite gender but in reality, sometimes poverty is the only thing preventing them from exhibiting their confidence.
“People have this perception that powerful women, confident women, and successful women are rude. Listen, I always say those are characters. We all have different characters. So maybe poverty was suppressing their rudeness. And it’s in men, it’s in women. We’ve seen it all“, she said.
She also cited that politicians are perfect examples to how people submit to others at their lowest points but behave rudely and differently after securing the power they sought.
“We’ve seen people when they are low, especially political leaders when they are campaigning. After they secure power, they act differently. It cuts across both men and women. But some people are not changed by their situations“, he stated.
However, people ought to draw certain boundaries around them after attaining a certain level of success in order to protect themselves and also the interest of the people. She also added that some people’s behavior are never influenced by the situation or level of success they attain.
“Of course, when you find yourself in a certain position, there are certain barriers you need to put in place because you need to protect yourself. You need to check yourself and the interest of the people you represent,” she affirmed.
