Embattled comedian and actor, Funny Face has told the court during his last appearance that he’ll soon drop a gospel album to address his struggles when the storm is finally over.
The veteran actor is presently in the grips of the law after he issued a threatening message to his baby mama Vanessa saying he’ll kill her and commit suicide afterward in a viral video that was widely circulated on social media weeks ago.
He was confined to the Psychiatric Hospital for evaluation after which he was remanded in custody pending his trial. Meanwhile the Cow and Chicken producer pleaded with the Court to return his phone back to him so he could utilise it for his various contracts he has signed as an ambassador.
During his last appearance in court, Funny Face whose real name Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng told His Worship, Kofi Oheneba-Kuffour’s Court that he was in a contract with Lantan Soya Milk which required him to consistently promote their products on his social media platforms and that he needed his phone to sufficiently execute the terms of that contract.
His request was immediately refuted by the prosecutor ASP Sylvester Asare in court who argued that investigations were still ongoing and that the phone was material in that regard.
The Court however weighed the import of what he said and consequently granted him his wish.
