Former coach and eloquent commentator, Nana Kwaku Agyemang, now known as Abdul Rahman after converting to Islam, has made some revelations on Facebook that goes a long way to underpin the bad image of former Ghana Football Association (GFA) boss Kwesi Nyantakyi and his cohort Ibrahim Saanie Daara.

The dreadlocked gaffer went back to sports commentary and punditry when he apparently got fed up with coaching but alas- that also did not last as he bowed out of the scene prematurely to the shock of footballer lovers and those who admire him from a distance.

Explaining circumstances that led to this strange development, Nana Ayemang revealed that he and the late Christopher Opoku were pushed out from Super Sports by some elements from the GFA led by his own ‘Muslim brother’ Saanie Daara because they were accused of undermining the then Kwesi Nyantakyi administration.

Nana Agyemang made this known while Sports Presenter with Joy FM, Muftawu Nabila Abdulai asked him why he stopped commentary.

Responding, Nana Agyemang said: I stopped because I was forced to stop. People in the GFA told super sports not to allow us to commentate anymore because it did not suit them and myself and Christopher in their opinion were anti GFA that’s the reason why.”
