Family of the deceased, Ahmed Hussein-Suale is demanding for an immediate investigation into their relative’s death.
Myjoyonline reports that a cousin of the deceased, Abdul Jalil Yakubu, says the family is giving the state authorities a week’s ultimatum to produce some credible progress made in the investigation or they will be forced to react.
“What we need is justice but when the justice fails we will react; we are fearless, we are Dagombas and we are warriors, so we need justice,” he said.
Yakubu categorically mentioned the Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Agyapong, who called on the public to attack Ahmed, and said he would pay for the said attack.
Ahmed was shot three times yesterday, twice in the chest and one at the neck after an unknown assailants broke the window of his car.
