Reports reaching ghgossip.com indicates that fire has gutted one of the dormitories of the Asanteman Senior High School in Kumasi.
The girl’s dormitory of Asanteman High School is reported to have been on fire as a result of a thunder strike which occurred during the evening hours of Thursday, April 4, 2019, causing the fire outbreak at the main auditorium of the school.

Currently, 23 students with different degrees of injuries are reportedly hospitalized and receiving treatments.
Personnel from the Ashanti Regional Fire service and policemen from the Suame police command have since been deployed at the scene.
