There was a downpour few days back and just as many predicted, many parts of the Capital of Ghana, Accra was submerged in water.

Cwesi Oteng, a gospel musician and prominent New Patriotic Party (NPP) sympathizer, joined the number of celebrities who expressed concern about the incident. He noted that people will not learn to swim despite the fact that Accra floods are common and should be expected.

Several neighbourhoods in Accra were inundated after a few hours of rain. Social media photos and videos gave a very bleak image of the scenario, which is documented every year.

Cwesi Oteng, commenting on the situation, raised alarm that Ghanaians, particularly those in Accra, have failed to take swimming lessons while knowing that floods are inevitable.

He wrote;

So you know it floods every year in Accra and you still can’t swim?. It’s not funny.

Away from that, Coded believes that he was misinterpreted when he claimed that Shatta Wale was the reason for the group’s breakup.

According to Coded, they chose to produce solo projects as a group because Shatta Wale was dropping hit after hit.

Captain Planet, though, disagreed, saying in a tweet that it was “laughable to say the least.” Nevertheless, in an interview with Accra-based Utv, Coded refuted the viral claims that the group separated due of Shatta Wale.

A man, he believes, cannot be the reason of a legendary group’s disintegration. Listen to what he said in the interview on UTV.
