Ghanaian rapper, Bashir Annan, well known as Gambo has finally cleared the air about a viral video of his encounter with a TV Presenter at the recent Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

It would be recalled that a video surfaced on social media that captured the moment Gambo was denied access to a presenter’s waist after he tried grabbing her by the waist during an interview on the VGMA red carpet.
Gambo after his big win was being interviewed by a presenter but the rapper seemed to have overstepped his boundaries as he tried to seduce the female presenter, perhaps out of excitement for his win at the award show.
Speaking in an interview on the Ekwansodwodwo segment with Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana on Okay FM, Gambo revealed that he had no intentions of making any unusual advances at the presenter on purpose.
According Gambo, he was taking pictures with his photographer on the red carpet when she approached the young presenter. He said that he presumed that he was about to take a photograph with the presenter before the commencement of the interview but unfortunately, the presenter was ready to engage him in the interview.
He revealed that he as not prompted that the interview was in session before he approached the presenter so when he tried grabbing her by the waist, the presenter removed his hands so they could begin with their interview.
He also expressed his displeasure that the media was not focused on his performance and award during the show but the moment he was embarrassed by the young lady, the media made the video viral through all platforms.
