There has been an interesting twist in the death of George Floyd as his autopsy reveals he had Coronavirus before his death.

The autopsy conducted on Wednesday revealed he had Coronavirus, weeks before his death and this contained in the 20-page document released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office, according to .NBCnews.

The document revealed th at Floyd on April 3 tested positive for the virus’ genetic code, or RNA.

According to the autopsy report, a second positive test after his death likely meant that Floyd, 46, was asymptomatic from an earlier infection when he died May 25.

The medical examiner’s office indicated that there was no evidence the virus played a known role in George Floyd’s death and being asymptomatic, he was unlikely to have been contagious.

A final state autopsy released Wednesday further revealed that George Floyd’s death was due to “cardiopulmonary arrest.”
