Ghanaian actor cum politician, John Dumelo has asserted that the entire Ghanaian education system needs a complete overhaul.

The renowned and award-winning personality made this known in a recent post that he made on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

According to him, the system is a flawed one because it is designed to make the student look for jobs after school.

He suggested that it is should be the case adding that the system should shift from the current system and this will greatly benefit the student.

The post that he made reads;

“Our entire Gh educational system needs complete overhaul. It is designed to make you look for jobs after school. What about creating jobs after school? We should shift from passing the subjects to look for jobs to understanding the subjects to create jobs….”

Some reactions his post got are;

@andy_andyHRP – Must everyone create jobs after school? Some will create ,some will look fir jobs. Nothing wrong with that. Yes better quality education is needed. The bigger problem is support for young entrepreneurs by the state. It is not the lack of ppl who create jobs

@JeromeDesmond1 – It not just about education. It is about our system access to capital to start business or farm is not available even if you get it is very expensive 2. To register business in this country is expensive and difficult
