Samuel Awuku, National Organizer of New Patriotic Party says NPP will stop Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from lying to Ghanaians for votes in the upcoming general elections.
He says Flagbeare John Mahama and the NDC’s campaign promises are nothing but lies.
“I don’t think we are attacking Mahama. We are situating the conversation in a proper context. Mr. Mahama remains the biggest obstacle to the advancement of our youth development, and I’m going to explain some of these things” He said this in defends of the allegation raised against the NPP of politically attacking opposition leader Mr. John Mahama.
Mr. Awuku says he’s convinced that most promises of former President John Mahama turn to be unfulfilled. In support of his argument he set example from 2008.
“In 2008, NDC did promise as part of their campaign promises that they were going to legalize small scale mining and the activities of galamsey; so there is a mad rush for people to go into that venture…I will come even to the activities of the okada later…And then we had people go into this business”

He further added that ““The government at that time stayed aloof, they didn’t regularize or didn’t regulate these activities or didn’t legalise it; and you know the negative effect, we had the degradation of the environment, the pollution of the water bodies and the government simply gave up on these galamsey activities.”
With these views Mr. Samuel Awuku says John Mahama is a lair and the NPP is going to stop him from deceiving Ghanaians to vote for him.
