The Vice president of the Republic,Dr Mahamudu Bawumia says the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) don’t have the moral right to claim ownership for free SHS when they went to supreme court and did over forty advert against it.

Speaking on the future of the country’s economy on Thursday 26th November,2020,Dr Bawumia said is either the NDC is confused or they think Ghanaians have short memory.

“Are they confused or do they think we have short memories? Their prediction of doom for free SHS has not materialised. The results have shown that quality has not been comprised,”Dr. Bawumia said.

Adding that:“They even went to the Supreme Court to stop free SHS. They ran over 40 adverts against free SHS. Today the NDC and their flag-bearer are looking at us and saying that they started free SHS.”

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has claimed they introduced the flagship free SHS policy of the NPP in 2015.
