Ghana Election 2020: Afia Pokua, a.k.a Vim Lady, a Journalist, Head of Programs at Despite Media Group, operating Peace FM, Okay FM, Neat FM and Hello FM in Kumasi has given an explosive hint that, some journalists will be killed in the following weeks in the country after the elections.
Afia Pokua made the disclosure in a social media post for the general public to see and acknowledge the information she disseminated about what’s ahead in the following weeks against Journalist in the country.
She wrote in her scocial media post saying; “The way Politicians are threatening media people, we should not be surprised if we wake up to news that a journalists has been KILLED or maimed in the coming weeks. Both NDC and NPP know journalists have NO CONTROL over election results but only report what is COUNTED at the polling stations and collation centers in the presence of their PARTY AGENTS but they still lie to their followers that the media has stolen results.
Why must journalists be the target of attack every election while those who contest sleep This profession is not worth OUR LIVES.”

The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Asiedu Nketia has before Afia Pokua’s post, accused UTV, JOY NEWS, TV3, and others media houses for projecting falsified figures in to project with for the NPP.
