The Chairperson for the Electoral Commission, Madam Jean Mensa says there is nothing she can do to favor President Nana Akufo-Addo if Ghanaians reject him come December 7, even if he was h is father.
Speaking at a training workshop for journalists on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.Mrs.Jean Mensa said ;

“Let me be honest with you, even if the president is my father, there is nothing I can do to favor him if the citizenry rejects him at the polls.
Adding that: “I’ve met President Akufo-Addo only twice since my appointment and even that, it was official duties, so when people are talking like that, ignore them”

The Electoral Commission has been criticised by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for scheming to favour President Akufo-Addo.
