The Ghana Police Service has reacted to the earlier shootings that occured at Tema Communuity 1 which claimed two lives of armed robbers.

According to the police, a man called Mashood Hamid called the Tema Regional CID to report that two people suspected to be robbers on a motorcycle robbed him of an amount of Gh¢123,345 which he withdrew from the Zenith Bank, Tema Branch at 12:30pm by shooting at his car tyres on reaching TDC traffic light.

In a post made on the official page of the Ghana Police, the police responded and exchanged fire with the robbers killing two of them on the spot. The said amount of GH123,345 was scattered on the street in the process of shooting, and it was scrambled by people around leaving only GH2,500.

The police has therefore advised all criminally minded persons to turn into a new leaf in order not to suffer same date.
