The final mock exam for Junior High School (JHS) three pupils in the Afigya Kwabre North District of the Ashanti Region were sponsored by Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin.

As part of his “One Student, One Pen” campaign, which was started in May in collaboration with DPS Ball Point Pens, the well-known actor also distributed some writing supplies.

According to data acquired by the Ghana News Agency, the actor invested more than GHC 50,000 in this sponsorship programme, which benefited more than 1500 children.

Lilwin explained the generosity in a social media post, stating that it was done to help the children get ready for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), which will take place in October.

“Education is an important aspect of our lives. While others take it for granted, there are others who crave it and struggle to get it.

“As part of my social responsibility, I sponsored a mock for all JHS final students in the Afigya Kwabre North District, both public and private candidates,” he said.

“This mock is to eliminate fear and bring hope for their upcoming BECE,” he wrote on Facebook.
