A member of the dissolved musical group, 4X4, Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey, popularly known as Captain Pl anet has revealed the main reason why Ghanaian musicians don’t get nominated for Grammy Awards.

In an tweet, Captain Planet revealed that the main reason why Ghanaian musician’s name are not found in the just-announced list of nominees of the Grammy Awards despite their efforts is that our own people trash their albums on social media, making it impossible for the board of Grammy to access the albums.
“People are wondering why ghanaians dnt get Grammy nominations ? Your own people have already trashed your album on social media so how do you expect the board of grammys to even access something that your own people have already trashed . It’s of no use to them. #BlameAgenda” he wrote.
The 63rd Nomination list for the 2021 Grammy Awards has been announced and some African musicians are already making their ways on the list. Nigeria has got a couple of musicians nominated. Meanwhile, no Ghanaian musician has been nominated.
