According to him, the sacrifice he made with his life restrained most Ghanaian prophets from making any kind of prophecy about the lives of people, especially Ghanaian personalities in the entertainment scene.

It would be recalled that Shatta Wale was prophesied to be shot dead about a year ago by a popular Ghanaian prophet by the name of Jesus Ahuofe. Shatta Wale after the prophesy pulled a stunt by faking the shooting incident and was arrested in the process.

He was arrested by the police alongside the man of God and some of his crew members he allegedly schemed this plan with. He was arraigned before the court and remanded into police custody for seven days before he was granted a GHc100,000.

A short while thereafter, the Ghana Police Service, under the direction of IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, issued a formal statement denouncing fake doomsday predictions in the nation. According to the statement, anyone who publishes or makes any false doomsday predictions against another person without offering any solid proof of their assertions will face legal repercussions.

In a self-recorded video. Shatta Wale stated that he was the main reason behind the police’s decision to penalize any prophet who makes any doom prophesy about people with any proof.
