Reggae Artiste, Ras Kuuku has disclosed that lately, it seems Ghanaians are no more into Konko songs.
According to him, the songs trending lately shows Ghanaians now want to listen to songs with content , and so he’s pleading with Ghanaians and the Media to push his works because he does songs with content.
Speaking on Hitz FM, he said
“Lately, Ghanaians are showing that they are no more into Konko songs, now listen to th songs trending and you can tell they are songs with content. I need a push and a little support. I want people to accept me and put me there and know that (yeah, Ras Kuuku is music). I don’t want to create unnecessary controversies to get me out there, I want my music to speak for me,”
Ras Kuuku continued,
Fighting or jabbing someone for hype to trend is not helping our industry. What do you gain when you fight? Help me get into the news by supporting my good work . You cannot say because of my strategy, you fight someone to get there.”
Ras Kuuku recently launched his third album Kuntunkununku on which he collaborated with acts such as Samini, Stonebwoy, MzVee, Rudebwoy Ranking, Black Prophet and Yes Jah.
