The prestigious Ghana Meets Naija Concert will come off at the Fantasy Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre on June 9.
A tall list of Ghanaian and Nigerian hitmakers have been billed to perform come the D-day but one notable absentee is Shatta Wale.
The controversial artiste has been one of most standout performers at the previous events but for some strange reason he was literally discarded this year.

According to snippets of information we have gathered, Opana was dropped because of Nigerian music act, Wizkid. This was speculated by movie producer and entertainment critic Ola Micheal.
Recall Shatta Wale’s infamous feud he started with Wizkid in 2017. The Gringo hitmaker stated in an interview that he finds it hard to understand why Wizkid is often over-hyped, adding that he doesn’t see anything special about him.
He’d said:
I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste.
Now it appears the Nigerian musician is having the last laugh as he reportedly told the organizers that if Shatta Wale is going to be part of the performers this year, then he wouldn’t partake in the event at all.
