Kennedy Agyapong has stated that should he ever become President of Ghana, the closure of all witch camps in the country will be his first priority.

He believes witches do not exists and the Ghanaian mentality is hoodwinked into having such thoughts and can be attributed to poverty.

The Flagbearer hopeful of the NPP stated that the people have to be empowered to survive financially and they wouldn’t have the thoughts of witches and eventually the existence of witchcraft camps.

He said;

“Give me two weeks when I become President, I will go to Yendi and close down all those witch camps. People capitalize on that to beat old women or force young children to admit that they are witches when they are not.

“Are you dumb? What is witchcraft? It’s just poverty, let’s build the people up and stop these kinds of witchcraft camps, it’s insane” he said.

Well, some weeks ago, Kennedy Agyapong recounted a scenario that happened when he held a thanksgiving party for one of his daughters who recently graduated.

According to him, during the party, a guy who is the nephew of one of his friends came and his daughters enquired about him.

They were asking for information about the guy as they seemed very interested in him, however, their ‘eye-cleared’ when they were hit with the news that he works at the United Parcel Service (UPS).

Immediately they found out where the guy works, they lost ‘interest’ in him. In the video, he stated that his daughters were right to lose interest in the guy because he can’t spend over $84,000 for them to settle on a guy who is doing such a job and taking a meager salary.
