Medikal actually happens to be one of the entertainment personalities in Ghana campaigning for the government to allocate funds to support the entertainment industry in order to for them to improve upon their respective crafts.

The government has been urged by entertainers both veterans and the new school to invest funds into the entertainment industry and carve the path for entertainers to generate revenues from their crafts.

This also points out the fact that most musicians and entertainers believe the right system has not been structured to favor them in their line of duties. GHAMRO for instance has been chastised by musicians over their inability to pay royalties to Ghanaian musicians.

Well, Medikal has also appealed to the government of Ghana to have a forecast for Ghanaian entertainers every single year, hence they need to be added to the yearly budget proposed to the parliament.

Taking to his Twitter page; he wrote;

The government should have a budget for Entertainers (Musicians, Comedians, Actors/Actresses) every year !
