The Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has hinted that government will soon name some Ghanaian celebs as ambassadors to help sensitize people (perhaps in the local dialect) about how to stay safe during this Covid-19 period.
The minister made it clear that these celebrities when appointed, will augment the effort of the media to propagate much education to the understanding of the layman since the media alone can’t carry out this responsibility alone.
The minister made this known while his ministry was interacting with members of the Ghana Journalist Association (GIJ) and GIBA.
