Ghanaian artiste, Guru born Maradona Yeboah Adjei has disclosed that he discovered and brought Kumawood comic actor Lil Win into the music industry.

He explained that he decided to introduce someone into the industry at a point in his career hence decided to introduce a comedian.

Speaking in an interview on Kantanka TV, he stated he initially thought of bringing Kwaku Manu but when he got to Kumasi he realized Kwaku had already released a song so he changed his decision.

He however added that after making the search he finally settled on Kwadwo Nkansah with Lil Win as his stage name which they hit the studio for their first banger dubbed “Al Qaeda”

Guru emphasized that Lil Win was naive when recording and it took him and the crew about five hours to guide the comedian to record his short verse.

Meanwhile, Lil Win has now grown to be on his own in the music fraternity as he’s been creating songs by himself.
