The song bird Gyakie has shared why she insists that they were paid for their performance at the Global Citizen Concert over the weekend even though they weren’t given any physical money.
Our artists who performed at the Global Citizen Concert confirmed there was no money payment involved and it was absolutely for free but Gyakie has a different perspective and believe they were paid even though they didn’t get any physical money from it.
According to Gyakie, she believes that they are paid because their craft was invested in as the platform given them was so huge that the whole world knows about their craft and to her, that’s enough payment.
It’s not as if Gyakie doesn’t want money or doesn’t want to gain financially from her craft but then given such opportunity to perform at the Global Citizen Concert is enough exposure that will eventually bring more money to her.
