Gyakie for one has been very successful within her short time of existence in the music industry. After he “Forever” song was made one of the most popular songs in Africa, the songstress went ahead to collaborate with Nigeria’s Omah Lay on the remix.

The move was met with a lot of backlashes from Ghanaians are many express their displeasure in Gyakie’s decision to feature a Nigerian artiste instead one from her country.

Well, it seems the move happened to be a very brilliant one on the account that it has been able to garner over 15 million views on YouTube within 5 months after it was premiered on the platform. However, the original music video has also hit over 10 million views within a period of one year.

Gyakie happens to be one of the youngest yet celebrated young talents in the Ghana music industry. With mentorship from her father, the legendary Nana Acheampong of the famous Lumba Brothers fame, the young songstress has been able to break international boundaries, making her one of the few talents from Ghana making global impacts with her craft.
