"Home Is Not Where You Were Born, Home Is Where The Leaders Care About You"

A Nigerian born, Canadian based man has taken a swipe at Nigeria and it poor system of government, corruption and selfishness.

@chuksjaphet who currently resides in Canada took to twitter to show off to the African country what it means by taking care of the citizens by the Canadian government unlike Nigeria where politicians and lawmakers do not care about the life of it citizens.

The man praised the efforts of the Canadian government on Twitter after the government sent him $2,290 as financial support during the Coronavirus pandemic which has killed and rendered many of the world’s people jobless.

The Canadian government ealier promised the citizens that Canadians who have lost their jobs due to the virus will be given monthly stipends of CAN$ 2,000 ($1,399) for 4 months and it has delivered on it promise.

@ChuksJaphet, tells that he received a deposit of $2,000 from the government of Canada few days ago and another cheque of $290 as support has been sent into his account.

He wrote:

“Few days ago, we received a deposit of $2,000 from d Govt of Can , today we got another cheque of $290 as support. Meanwhile, all Nigerian Govt could say was come back home and I will bear d flight cost. Home ain’t where u were born. Home is where d leaders care abt u”
