Taling to his Twitter, John Dumelo cited a very good example of folks living in the Dodowa area and have to cross all the way to Accra Central to their workplaces only to earn about GHS1000 per month which makes it impossible for them to survive the cost of living in Accra.

Upon critical scrutinization of the issue, John Dumelo has come to the realization that the lives of GHS1k salary earners are very disheartening as he ponders on how they are able to survive with that amount of money.

He wrote; You live on the dodowa road and work in Accra central, your salary is 1000gh, daily transport is 20gh, that’s approx 400gh a month. Approx 10gh a day on food. That’s 300gh a month. Total 700gh. 300gh left. Rent, ECG, water, savings and “offering”no come yet. How do we solve this?

In other news, award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Darryl Paa Kwesi Bannerman-Martin, well known as Joey B has raised concerns on the microblogging platform, Twitter after saying that cigarette tastes very nice.

This is not the first time a musician is coming out publicly to say he or she smokes. Top stars like Shatta Wale, Yaa Pono, Omar Sterling, Mugeez among others are known to be smokers but as to why they do that, no one knows, perhaps to energize them when they are performing on stage or inspire their songs.
