Just a few hours before his passing, Rico Swavey, one of the Big Brother Naija Housemates, tweeted about musician Davido and his engaged fiancee / babymama, Chioma Rowland reuniting.
As previously reported by Ghgossi.com, Davido and Chioma’s announcement of their impending wedding and subsequent reconciliation became the talk of social media.
The news of their reunion and impending marriage thrilled late Rico, who expressed his excitement on Twitter after learning of the news of Davido and Chioma’s engagement.
Sadly and unfortunately, Rico passed away a few days after posting this tweet.
His tweet reads;
‘Omo! Davido and chioma getting married next year is a news that gives me joy💞 Assurance is insured !! Congratulations to both of them 👏’.
Meanwhile, Monica Corban has penned a touching tribute to Rico Swavey.
“Wake up babe!!! I can’t think straight. We are yet to settle our issues.
We decided to keep the relationship on a low and this is how you decided for me to showcase you!! I had just left a relationship to meet you and just left me. Babe why!!!!
I would sworn that you wouldn’t die!! Because of how strong and energetic you were, u complained of your long talk, now I want you talk for hours I wouldn’t complain. Patrick am sorry, am deeply sorry to as not seen you as planned cause I was upset. I am sorry babe, am sorry that you left! Am sorry that we didn’t talk out our issue when we wanted too, am sorry I slept without hearing your voice!!! I just need an explanation why this happened!!!!!
He spoke to me on how blog’s are quick to carry bad news. Patrick (Rico) look at blogs carrying your news but not your music or any positive thing about you! You had just lost your friend and now you gone. But God am tired I don’t have the strength no more I don’t.
What is everyman leaving my life?? My dad left me, no bond no nothing. My ex destroyed me completely. And when I tried to pick up my pieces and start life and love again it was taken away from me. My mental health is messed up!!
