Ghanaian comic actor and comedian, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, affection ately known in the entertainment scenes as Funny Face has narrated how he tried taking his own life with rat poison during his days of depression and trauma.

It would be recalled that the comic actor shared a note on social media about wanting to take his very life due to the depression he was going through as a result of his issues with his baby mama, Vanessa and his failed relationships.
The father of twins amid his traumatization wanted to end his miseries by ending it all at once following the outcome of the relationship with Vanessa. He rained insults on several Ghanaian personalities he claimed were responsible for his troubles and some of them also abandoned him in his time of need.
While speaking at Lexi De Comic’s “2 Cute To Be Mute” at the National Theatre, Funny Face revealed that he had wanted to end his life with rat poison during his depression stage.
He said that he had gone to the shop to purchase the rat poison which was sold at GHc80 but he gave the vendor GHc100. However, he gave up on the idea to kill himself and realized he is not ready to die.
He said that he waited for the vendor to give him back his change of GHc20 but while waiting, the had to rethink about the decision and realized he is not ready to depart from the earth.
