Award-winning Ghanaian Highlife musician, Bisa Kdei has recalled how his own friends and some members of his family wrongly accused her of using ‘juju’ to enhance his music business.

Bisa Kdei revealed in a recent interview on Adom TV that he went through a very unpleasant experience in the hands of his peers.

The talented Highlife singer, songwriter and music producer who broke into mainstream as far as the music industry is concerned with his smash hit ‘Azonto Ghost’ song which was a soundtrack for the popular Kumawood film ‘Azonto Ghost’ told the host of the show that he hustles a lot and works hard to achieve all that he has.

Bisa Kdei intimated that his close friends became envious of his exploits and started circulating rumours that about him that he is using black magic or voodoo to sell his music.

According to the ‘Matanfo’ singer, he needed to cut off some of his friends in order to succeed in his life and remarked that what he went through is something one must face in his or life.

He said;

“I hustle a lot, yet my friends and family propagate rumours that I’m utilizing juju to advance my profession. It’s best when you have to cut somebody off. In order to achieve in life, you sometimes need to have this sort of experience. You will not be driven to succeed if they are not present.”
