Popular Ghanaian actress and movie producer Yvonne Nelson and songstress turned actress Michy have shared their experience of encountering death after eating a particular food.

The two actresses’; Yvonne Nelson and Michy shared their experience during an interview on Adom TV’s Ahousepe Xtra. The two were at the studios to promote their movie “The men we love” which premiers on the 14th of February, 2022.

Sharing her experience on Adom TV Ahosepe Xtra, Yvonne Nelson recounted how she nearly died due to food poisoning. According to her, it happened when she went to a restaurant (name undisclosed) with one of her colleagues in the movie industry to grab a bit.

After the meal, she went home only to experience an uncontrollable severe stomach ache. “I thought I was going to die. I was in pain and I remember crawling on the floor. It was that bad”, Yvonne revealed.

“I don’t know what happened on that day but I remember calling my colleague to ask if she is also having that same problem because, with mine, I thought I was going to die but lo and behold, I’m still here”, Yvonne added.

Michy, a songstress now turned into an actress also shared the first food poisoning experience she survived. According to her, her love for street food especially grilled tilapia almost caused her to lose her life. Michy disclosed how she felt bad after eating grilled tilapia which she purchase by the streets.
