US-based Ghanaian gospel musician, Dr. Sonnie Badu is getting a clean shave and trading his afro for short hair, as he stated in a Facebook post.
The gospel minister who currently resides in the United Kingdom has maintained his hair uncut for years through his career much like Sampson in the Bible.
Despite the fact that his hair appeared to be short in the past, a recent snapshot released by Dr Badu indicates that it has grown in inches. Sonnie Badu’s hair can be combed up to his shoulder level.
He has stated, though, that if his wife agrees, he will shed his former look.
In his words: “Finally going to cut the hair … what do you think? Ivory Coast so you want to see me with it or without? Let me know, my wife has the final say tho lol,”
Fans have reacted to his query in a variety of ways.
While some of his fans were devastated by the news, others expressed their support, claiming that his existing appearance does not befit a gospel performer.
Meanwhile, Nigerian singer Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed better known by his stage name Bella Shmurda has revealed the face of his old girlfriend, Omotena, who he dated before becoming famous.
Bella’s announcement that the Omotena he mentioned in his “Vision 2020” song about getting pregnant was genuine got folks talking on social media.
He sent a controversial thank-you card to the girl he impregnated years ago and mentioned a child who would have turned five this year, according to him.
In a recent tweet, the Cash App singer praised a fan for sharing a photo of him and a girl dressed similarly.
The person in the picture, according to Bella Shmurda, is the Omotena he was singing about.
He wrote; “Y’all meet OMOTENA!”
