Multiple award-winning Ghanaian gospel songstress Empress Gifty has made some revelation about herself and her marriage which has gotten a lot of attention on social media.
The gospel artist in a video sighted online has disclosed that she is not a person who depends on another person’s income to make it in life. She added that this is the reason why her relationship with her husband, Hopeson Adorye is solidified.

Speaking about how she met her husband, Empress Gifty disclosed that she met her current husband in 2018 which was the begging of great things in her life after experiencing an emotional and traumatic divorce from her first husband.
Empress Gifty shot down the idea of depending on her husband’s money to survive. She emphasized that she works hard to make her own money which makes her husband respect and adore her for.
“I prefer to work and make my own money. If I love you, I don’t want your money. All I want is my freedom to work and exhibit my talents. That is where I get my happiness” she said in the video.
