Singer and songwriter Derick Obuobie Jnr, affectionately known as J.Derobie has made some clarifications on the the genre of music he does as an artiste.

J.Derobie, who is dubbed the future King Ghanaian dancehall and reggae music has revealed on Bryt Tv that he has a an album coming out which consist of 13 songs. The album is titled, A King Is Born. It’s not much of a surprise since his seniors in the industry crowned him the future King before he ermeged as a winner on Mr. Eazi’s Empawa 30 project.

Responding to questions on his limitations to a particular genre of music, the “poverty” hitmaker said that he is not limited to one genre of music.

I’m not limited to Dance hall neither I’m i to Afro Beat . Afro beat is my calling while Dance hall came up due to the love I had for the genre but both form part of me.

According to him, he doesn’t smoke, neither does he drink or take in any hard substance to do music. He further added that he is yet to release a new jam titled “Journey” to entertain his fans and Ghanaians during this corona season.
