I Became More Prominent In The Film Industry When I Stopped Going On Set With Agya Koo

Ghanaian Veteran actor Akrobeto has noted that his prominence in the film industry became very relevant when he stopped going on set with Agya Koo.

The veteran actor who is undoubtedly one of the best actors in Kumawood told 1Ghana in an interview that Agya Koo was so great back then (as we all know) that whoever plays him in a lead role will be held down for his huge personality.

Recalling the incidents that led him to shine and break, Akrobeto revealed that it was through the advice and instructions given to him by the CEO of Miracle Films Production, Mr. Samuel Nyamekye, that he paved the way for him to become a Name.

“Sir. Nyamekye really advised me not to go on set with Agya Koo because he was already on top and anyone who performs alongside him will not shine. Again, he made me turn down any role that had Agya Koo in it not because I hated him, but because he wanted to give me a platform to gain ground in the country, “he noted.
