Ghanaian singer, Adelaide Bortier with stage name Adelaide The Seer has revealed that she has faith that God will restore her sight.

Speaking in an interview with Abena Ghana on the Journey Show, Adelaide disclosed that her predicament started when she was in Senior High School (SHS).

The 26-year old singer says she has been blind for 8-years after her vision had issues when she was in Senior High School. She also disclosed in the interview why she had to quit working with music duo Dope Nation. According to her, the contract signed was too demanding, and had to put her health first.

Speaking on her life story, Adelaide the Seer said her life has been like a roller coaster with so many ups and downs. I have learned great lessons from all of my life events. “The truth is as human as I am, I have days when I cry and feel very low.”

“But anytime this happens, I try to wipe my tears and remain stronger because there are many other people who take their inspiration from me. It is not easy with life, but I believe that everything in life happens for a reason.”

“Like my disability, I know God has a purpose for this and that it won’t be permanent. I believe that one day God will restore my sight”, she said.
