Speaking in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show, OB Amponsah revealed that a joke he made about the former President’s name attracted the attention of sympathizers of the National Democratic Congress and he didn’t have easy.

He said that his number was being shared in WhatsApp groups and other platforms for people to call and insult him for making fun of the former president’s name.

OB Amponsah revealed that he cried his heart out following the harsh criticism he was subjected to by sympathizers of the former president. However, he was forced to render a sincere apology to the former president for making that joke about his name.

OB Amponsah stated that he understood why tempers were rising because most people presumed he was a member of the NPP, hence he made that joke to subject the NDC and its leader to public ridicule and make mockery of him. He said that people only wanted him to be neutral with his jokes, hence the harsh criticism.
