Bragging and dragging one’s ego in a bloated spectrum is a common trait which can be found in the DNAs of all rappers. Teephlow is confidently saying he deserves to be crowned the ‘Rapper of the Year’ at the upcoming VGMAs and we cannot begrudge him for exhibiting that trait we spoke about.
Explaining why he thinks he’s better than Medikal, Obibini, Sarkodie, and M.anifest who are all in the same category as him, the Fante rapper said he did extremely well under the year in review hence deserves the crown.
He however admitted that stated that even though he believes that he deserves it, he’s very worried that it’s the public that has to determine the winner.
Teephlow said even though he has a very good audience appeal, all the other nominees in the category with him do also have a great number and as such he has another believe that the award will go either way.
The’Warning’ rapper consequently advised the Board to do the selection and not to leave it in the hands of the public since it’s a technical category that demands a good understanding of the genre.
